Almost all women's magazines in one way or another touch on the problem of losing weight and offer their own recipes for harmony. Many women are looking for a super diet for themselves that will instantly give the desired result.

Few understand that such a problem as the fight against excess weight takes time and a rational approach to oneself. The following tips will help you really lose weight without harming your health.

If you do not eat at home, then be careful about the size of the portions offered to you in restaurants and cafes. The menu is dominated by portions that are high in fat and calories and tend to be larger than normal portion sizes. What to do if you still can't have lunch at home. Opt for a restaurant offering a wide variety of dishes. Don't order either, what the neighbor ordered for whatever reason. Make your choice yourself. Browse through the menu and choose the dish that contains as little fat as possible. You can always order vegetables, fruits, as well as salads, the dressing for which is next to them. Learn to control yourself, as some restaurant portions are five to six times the recommended size. Even if the chicken or fish served to you is delicious, this does not mean that you need to eat them in one go. You will always have the right to ask the waiter to wrap part of the dish with you (if the portion is really large, then it is better to do this before the start of the meal - this way, you will not be tempted to eat more than you expected before going to the restaurant).

Pay attention to the fast food problem. In the modern world, fast food has become very popular; you can find fast food in the truest sense of the word on almost every corner. The reason for its popularity is its low cost, fast service and a large selection of dishes. If you visit establishments offering fast food, then opt for small (or better small) portions, and even more so refuse double portions. When it comes to drinks, preference should be given to diet soft drinks, 100% fruit juice, or plain water. Three hundred grams of a regular soft drink contains at least ten teaspoons of sugar. Just imagine that drinking 0.8 liters of regular soft drink, you are consuming twenty-five teaspoons of sugar! In sugary carbonated drinks there are no nutrients, but there is sugar, in this regard, try not to consume them at all.

Look for readily available and healthy snacks. If you want to grab a snack before your next meal, fruit (take care of the fruit bowl), fruit salad, or carrots are ideal options. Canned vegetables are best substituted for frozen vegetables.

Get a double boiler. Steamed food retains all its health benefits. Steamed food is healthier than fried food, even if you eat too much.

Reduce the duration of your meal. The amount of food you eat can be directly proportional to the time you spent at the table. At the same time, you should not eat too quickly, otherwise by the time you feel full, you will eat much more than you planned. It is best to avoid intense hunger.

Do not do other activities while eating. Do not eat in front of the TV or read a book during your meal. Otherwise, you simply won't notice how much you ate.

Eat several times throughout the day. Don't skip breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Let your healthy lifestyle become more active. Is the sports club membership too expensive for you? It's not a problem. You can train yourself or get together with friends at least two or three times a week.

Forget about seeds, nuts, croutons and chips - they are very high in calories, and the benefits from them are minimal. It is more preferable to have a snack with yogurt or dried fruit.

Don't confuse physical hunger with emotional hunger. In other words, don't eat up your emotions. Thus, you develop a dependence on food. Feelings of joy or, conversely, anger can cause you to have a strong desire to eat something. Understand yourself. Before you start eating, determine if you really want to. You can keep your diet diary, in which you will note the time of meals, the degree of hunger and mood, what you ate and in what quantities.

Tune in not so much to maintain a diet for a certain time (for example, a month), but to change your lifestyle in general. Very often, having sustained some kind of diet and losing some kilogram, a person gains weight again after it ends. Switch to a balanced diet and maintain an active healthy lifestyle, and then you will forget about the problem of excess weight for a long time. Change your habits.

Don't constantly weigh yourself. Get on the scale once a week and control your weight that way. Otherwise, you may face the fact that the desired result will not coincide with the real one, and this can lead to a drop in your self-esteem and reduce the incentives to continue fighting overweight. The best time to weigh yourself is in the morning, but during the day, the weight can fluctuate significantly.

You can lose weight quickly by significantly reducing calories. This is not the case, since the stomach will react to such a situation as information that the body is simply dying, and therefore it will begin to accumulate weight.

It is best to follow a strict diet for weight loss. It is worth stopping your choice on less rigid diets, so you will lose weight without harm to your health. Follow the above rules.

You must completely abandon products that are unhealthy, but loved by you. There is no need to do this. In small quantities it will not harm you in any way, so it is not forbidden to eat cake or ice cream from time to time.

It is very effective not to eat after 6pm. This is another myth. The time you eat is not as important as whether you are active or how much you eat throughout the day. If you go to bed late (for example, at twelve), and have dinner after six (for example, at seven, especially if the dinner is light), then there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Fat is bad. In general terms, this is so. But it is impossible to completely exclude it from the diet, and the fats contained in some products (for example, in seafood) are very useful for our body. Basically, all fish is a dietary product.

Skipping meals can help you lose weight faster. This is not true. Metabolism is disturbed, and this is not good enough. It is better to eat more often, but in smaller quantities. It is beneficial to have a snack between meals, so you will not constantly think about food (and the apple you eat will not do you any harm, only benefit).

Oil is a harmful product. But you can opt for low-fat varieties. Low-calorie dairy products will also not harm, moreover, the calcium contained in them is necessary for the human body.

You can lose weight by consuming plenty of water. Water is good for health. But it is most likely impossible to lose weight at the expense of it. But by replacing high-calorie drinks with plain water, you can get the desired effect.
